In 2026 the group earned two Grammy nominations, Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for &#39;Gabriela&#39;, and performed at the ceremony. This post treats KATSEYE as a natural experiment in a single question: can the K-pop system — training, production, fandom mechanics — be separated from Korean national origin? I try to keep verifiable results apart from contested interpretation.</description>
